real impact. real results.

Most raffles ask you to donate and you hope that the money goes to where it is needed. This fundraiser is about sharing exactly where every dollar goes - and why it matters.

Since 2019, this community has raised over $101,000 for our local CFA brigades through the Christmas morning fundraiser at Cliffy’s and Friday night raffles at the Daylesford Hotel.

That's not just a number. It's new equipment, enhanced capabilities, and tangible support for the volunteers who protect us year-round.

Last Year’s Record Results!

In 2024, Christmas morning at Cliffy's and the raffle raised $32,675.22. Combined with funds from the Friday Night Community Raffle at the Daylesford Hotel, we donated a total of $37,697.22 to our local brigades.

Christmas morning at Cliffy’s underpins the strength of our community. The financial boost this provides to our local brigades helps enhance our fire and rescue capabilities. Every time this community is tested, it comes together to meet the challenge.

Who we support

Our local brigades form the Glenlyon Group of Brigades, covering Daylesford, Hepburn, Franklinford, Glenlyon, Musk, Leonards Hill, and Porcupine Ridge.

These aren't just firefighters – they're road crash rescue responders, emergency medical first responders, search and rescue teams, and storm damage specialists. They're at car accidents on the Midland Highway, bushfires in summer, flood rescues, and everything in between.

And they're all volunteers.

When everyone else is running away from danger, these people run toward it. If that doesn't make them heroes, we don't know what does.

Where This Year's Money Goes

Funds raised this Christmas will be used to purchase breathing apparatus for the Hepburn and Glenlyon Brigades – neither of which currently has any.

Due to recent CFA budget cuts, brigades are now responsible for funding this life-saving equipment themselves. Each full set costs around $17,000.

Your generosity doesn't just help – it directly equips the people who keep our community safe, 365 days a year.

This is what real impact looks like: equipment our brigades desperately need, funded by a community that shows up – on Christmas morning and every day in between.

No mystery. No fluff. Just results.
